METALLICA To Headline Australia's BIG DAY OUT 2004?

According to Encyclopedia Metallica, METALLICA have signed on to headline the final Big Day Out festival tour in Australia in January 2004. METALLICA are expected to top the bill nationwide, most likely in conjunction with their own Australian tour at the same time. Cities penciled in for the Big Day Out tour include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. This year's Big Day Out festival featured the FOO FIGHTERS in the headlining slot, with a host of support bands that included QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, JANE'S ADDICTION, DEFTONES and MURDERDOLLS. Big Day Out, which started back in 1992, will have its final run in 2004, according to the organizers.
